Managing Director, Machinery MT, Finland

"I started working at Machinery as a Sales and Purchasing Assistant in 2012. Shortly after joining the company, I was given additional responsibilities, and my role continued to evolve over the years. In 2022, I was promoted to Project Manager, and the following year to Business Director. 

In 2024, when the metal machining business was separated from Machinery into its own company, Machinery MT, I was appointed Managing Director of the new company. My career has progresses steadily, and as my expertise has grown, I have gradually taken on more responsibility. I find my current role to be highly diverse and multifaceted. 

My development has been supported in many ways during my working career. A couple of years ago, I was able to participate in Machinery's leadership training and last year I enrolled Boreo Academy’s Talent program. The contents of the trainings have always been very interesting and given a lot to think about in daily work and management.

Today, Machinery MT is a modern company where information flows efficiently and collaboration between departments works seamlessly. We have many employees with exceptionally long career withing the company, which speaks to how higly people value Machinery MT as an employer. It is also a privilege to work in an organization surrounded by experts from a wide range of fields who are always willing to help with any challenge or question. 

What truly motivates me in my work is when we come up with a solution to a challenging customer situation with the team and are able keep the customer satisfied. We also have a great, cooperative team in the machining tools industry. In general, I feel very good about having been given opportunities to develop and that good performances have been noticed.

Recently, a lot has been done at Machinery MT that takes the company to the right direction. I look forward to the future with confidence!"
